Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Provide excellent customer service by handling customer complaints, questions, taking orders, processing returns, and other clerical duties such as filing, data entry, sorting, and scanning.
Classification: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Hourly Earnings Vary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to the following:
• Manage customer inquiries and order taking via phone and email
• Resolve customer problems accurately and efficiently, responding professionally and in a timely manner
• Build relationships with customers through interactive conversations
• Accurately input orders, make invoice changes and provide proper and sufficient documentation for the Accounting Department
• Ensure all invoices are properly stamped
• Upsell customers by offering new products and discussing current promotions
• Call customers who did not place orders on a daily basis to inquire as to why
• Always ensure customer satisfaction by following up on customer’s special needs and reporting issues to the appropriate department, such as; making notations on account, changing delivery windows, locking special pricing, editing order guides
• Check in drivers as they return to the warehouse and ensure drivers have all signed invoices, payments, and changes are properly documented on their paperwork
• Establish a collaborative working partnership with all departments and build relationships to accomplish the work in a seamless manner
QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS
• Must be highly detail oriented and organized
• Must be able to understand organization priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Excellent math and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively during times of organizational stress, ambiguity, and change
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
• Must have the ability to multi-task
