CARROTS: The table and bulk Jumbo market are both steady, while labor issues continue to plague the smaller prepackaged items.
BROCCOLI: Will remain active until the transition to AZ due to disease and insect pressure. Yields are below anticipated volumes. Mexican supplies are limited due to extreme, wet weather. Quality is fair to good.
CAULIFLOWER: Markets are active as demand has increased coupled with declining yields. Quality is fair to mostly good.
BLACKBERRIES: Supply will enter a transition period between the USA and central Mexico producing regions. The USA regions will descend week over week while central Mexico is expected to produce much of the supply in late October.
CANTALOUPE: Volumes are light due to decreased plantings. Markets are rising. Supplies will be light through most of October until the desert region and Mexico begins.
