Stay up-to-date on the produce industry & continue reading for a highlight summary of this week’s Market News report:

BROCCOLI: Light supply for current demand and monitoring numbers again this week. Seeing good quality and color. Slight pin rot present in some lots we can work through at harvest. Cooler weather is expected to slow down crop growth. This market is going to get tight.

CAULIFLOWER: Supplies are expected to be plentiful this week. Quality, sizing, texture, and appearance should be very nice.

GRAPES: Markets are steady with moderate supplies and good demand. Quality is good. Green grape supplies are expected to lighten up in the coming weeks.

MELON: Prices are still very strong but could see it ease up by the end of this week. Quality on both cantaloupe and honeydew is mixed.

WATERMELON: We are seeing an up market with sizing becoming much smaller. Lighter supply available out of the Midwest, and Texas. Quality is still good.
